McKean County QSO Party

Rules and Guidelines

The 2009 McKean County QSO Party will be held Saturday May 23rd. The contest begins at 12:00pm local time and ends at 8:00pm local time.

 Goal: To make as many contacts with other areas (zip codes) in McKean county on as many frequencies as possible. Each frequency used is a multiplier.


             No repeater contacts allowed

             Mode does not matter

             Test you limits and abilities!

Log Submission:

bulletSend printed logs to the club or email log file to the club email address -
bulletEmailed logs should show the Callsign and Name of the person submitting the log in the file name. (Example: McKean County QSO Log v2 KB3PJF Jason Bange) Use the Save As feature to accomplish this.
bulletDownload the QSO Log here.  The log is in an Excel Spreadsheet file.

 The logging program is free to use and is available for download from the MCARC website. (Program written by KB3PJF) It is advised to play with the program to ensure you understand how it works (i.e. enter information and scroll down).
