Welcome to the McKean County Amateur Radio Club web site.  We hope you'll stop by often and hope to see you at our club meetings.

Our Mission

To be one of the leading amateur radio clubs in the area.  To share the fun, the learning and the experience of this service oriented hobby with members and others.

Club Profile

Our club is affiliated with the ARRL (American Radio Relay League).  The ARRL is the largest amateur radio association world-wide.  Our affiliation has existed with the ARRL for over 50 years.

Our members come from several counties surrounding the McKean County area.  We have members from McKean County, Elk County and Cattaraugus County.

We sponsor the 2 meter repeater W3VV, located in Knapp Creek, NY on 146.850- 

Our club meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7pm.  We meet at the Bradford Area Public Library on West Washington Street in Bradford.

We sponsor VE testing sessions on the first Tuesday evening of every even month (February, April, June, August, October and December) at 7pm at the McKean Potter County American Red Cross Chapterhouse at 302 Congress Street in Bradford.
